Cupid's Arrow -- a Poem for the Tuesday Platform
My heart has a
Cupid's arrow slanting
upwards from bottom to top.
I guard it strongly within
Cupid's arrow slanting
upwards from bottom to top.
I guard it strongly within
the pages of my Bible.
I take it out at
I take it out at
random times
to show
my
Love
She shot the arrow.
to show
my
Love
She shot the arrow.

How lovely! The arrow metaphor is always delightful in bringing that love/idea of love to the foray.
Oh gosh this is absolutely splendid, Jim! 💖💖💖
Clever!!! Nicely done!
I'm weighing the feeling of being shot and being in love. Glad it was sweet and not a dagger.
Ooh, I love these words and the shape of the poem!
I love the shape and the poem. Oh love grows bold in summer.
Aw! The playful shape works with the heartfelt words.
