A Poem, another Artistic Interpretation
Dawn shyly made her visit;
bad scene in her realm
When dawn shyly made her visit
My senses slowly sharpening
Sloppy Sunday morning greetings
Stinking smells, silent in the dim
Summer sun should be bright but not
Simmering fog boiling at top
Wet mist seeping drops from below.
Miserable. Clearly I was lost
I'd swam all night trying to hide
What comes now? Safe from the poachers
Though morning brings another fear
Strangers lurking here mean no harm
Strange to them never seen a whale
Last night was going south not north
Safe harbor? San Diego looms
The Zoo or the Bay, not my choice

Any sign of human habitation would not be my choice if I were a whale. Humans don't have a very good reputation with whales seeing us usually makes them blow their tops!
The sea is for the whales... may there always be a free passage for them (and plenty of krill)
“...dawn shyly made her visit”. Beautiful
