French scenes ~~ a Poem for "Artistic Interpretation "

Artistic Interpretation

Blue Ridge Mountains reminds one of
Best of master's--elements there

Mountains in the background, looming
Mont Sainte Victoire, Provence love

Trees in the foreground standing guard
European Cypress trees, tall

What artists come to mind for you
A small hint, two loved abstraction

Renowned American artist
And the other was very French

This is the very French:

If you like art then go to Europe. We found this Cézanne original in the Lautrec Museum in Albi, France. It is by Paul Cézanne (1839 to 1906) and yes, he was pretty quirky. (Cézanne Wikipedia link)

I love this picture. That was clever bringing in the two masters and emphasizing the trees, which I also love.

Lovely art pieces you chose! I live near the Blue Ridge and have painted those mts. Delightful written perspective. (an art word as well as a writing word.)
