A short poem -- "Small Car"
(Going small? Two for one parking)
"Small Car"
.
I have a small car
it goes at a crawl
The mileage is good
a tank lasts for weeks
My frame is smallish
the car fits me well
My friends think it's cute
the kids like it too
But my car is weak
it's small, can't go fast
_ _ _
it goes at a crawl
The mileage is good
a tank lasts for weeks
My frame is smallish
the car fits me well
My friends think it's cute
the kids like it too
But my car is weak
it's small, can't go fast

small cars are cute.
My old car fits this description exactly.
Being small is being big. A lot can be done easier and faster than a bulky thing that is slow and unwieldy. Start small think big often been said.

A great choice to travel.. but not too far.
That car IS cute.
Cute, indeed.
I love how the poem tells us so much about the speaker's personality and values. It's obvious the speaker is not completely happy with the wee car--which "is weak
it's small, can't go fast"--but that doesn't keep this person from doing what makes sense. I like that.
I like my van, but if I lived inside a big city, this makes sense for zipping around.
I LOVE my small car! :)
Small goes into tight spots, but I wouldn't like it in Houston traffic. :)
