Wow Jim... heartbreaking! You were not kidding when you said it was sad! Well done though, all the same!

Great job. There was so much that we could do with this one. Like you, mine's a bit sad.

Wow..this is a sad one but very well done my friend.

Here is a link so you can pick a gravatar of your choosing that follows any email you assign it to. Then you don't have to put up with all those computer generated ones. Hope it helps.

Have a great Wednesday.

...Lovely Job Jim ...sadly, a reflection of my status too ... not quite 50 years though ...but enough to be always continually thought of and missed ...I loved her passionately.

Hey! I Love the use of the photo as well ... really underscores the poem.

Wow. Beautiful in its truth. As I continue in "middle age" I realize anew that we will all go through this (or half of us will anyway) one day.

But you are happy now since she's risen from her watery grave.

i so agree with nessa.. "risen from her watery grave." it's not all sad after all.

hi jim, sorry for my late visit. i've been very, very busy lately. getting ready to go back to my old familiar room- at my old law office as a partner (my home). i wandered far (got employed) for 9 months but will be back "home" again in september- that's where my heart truly belongs.

and the "witch" we were talking about? she lives in the "room" i am leaving soon. she can have it all to herself. lol!

It is so soooooooooooooo sad, especially with the picture attached. It reminds me my own story 10 years back, in the airport, alone, waited for my luggage, and my dearest dad would never come back again.
