SkyWatch Friday (my eleventh) -- Clear blue sky, a reflection

[click on any picture for larger size] [link for super sized]

Adi and I found this pretty pool on our walk this Tuesday.

Most times we don't come to this spot but take a more direct route home. Home from where Mrs. Jim drops us off, the golf pro shop and club house where she leaves to play golf with her buddies.

There was not a cloud in the sky that morning!

View coming down the lane from our house and on our continued walk. The Skywatch reflection picture was taken to the right of that little bridge on the right. [link for super sized]

This is on the other side of the bridge and also shows from where we had walk down. Adi is in the foreground contemplating exploring something she thinks might be interesting. [

I took the picture standing on the edge of the green area where you can see the water ahead. [

Mrs. Jim is riding away to meet her buds on the course. She had a nice morning of golf.

Please note that last week I could not get to every person who commented.
I will try harder this week.
And if I didn't get to your Skywatch last week, I promise I will this week.

Hi, Jim. Love the photos...especially the sky in the water!

I am beginning to put up my Canada/Alaska photos on my blog, but I will do a skywatch tomorrow as well.

You are right - the reflection was a real cosy one. Peace and quiet all around. I'd love to be there.

If you like reflections, I posted a couple of rather special ones yesterday

beautiful SWF. I like reflections, and I got the chance to take some shots with reflections in the water in Norway and Sweden.

Have a nice weekend.

That's a beuatiful little part of the world, lovely reflection. I see you are descended from Corkhills. That's one of the oldest Manx family names so your ties here are strong.

I love the things people are finding on walks. How wonderful. Beautiful little pool.

You commented on the SWF blog about wall clouds... totally different from a shelf cloud, though they can be similar. Wall clouds are the lowerings in the base of the storm cell. The lowered base is USUALLY in the back of the storm, relative to it's movement, and it is generally where you will find a tornado if one were to form, and it's where a storm draws in all it's energy. The shelf cloud is sort of the introduction of the storm... the lead in... it also happens to be where the storm dispenses all the energy and rain... and if the storm is moving well, much wind (a wall of it) can be associated with a shelf cloud.

I agree great photo but better reasoning, vis a vis the pretty girl. Men go all the way to the altar with no more information.
