Halloween Night -- 55 Flash Plus

Halloween Night

"Trick or Treat!"  Naughty words I love
Little kids like to shout.  Tonight
it's okay if they say those words

Innocence is theirs, they know not
naughty words they say in pure bliss
Tricks the likes of things they don't know

Got to go now,  doorbell's ringing
"Trick or treat!"  Words for treats tonight

I am linked with Kerry O'Connor at the Real Toads FLASH 55 PLUS!
Kerry wants us to write a Halloween themed poem of exactly 55 words.
Mine is exactly 55 words including the title.

For the first time in 16 years we have had trick or treaters.  That is because we moved out of a gated community where the POA had an activity for the kids called "Trunk or treat."

It's fun to see the kids dressed up. This year though, we only got two trick-or-treaters. (We live out in the country.)

I bet you enjoy spoiling them a little, and admiring their costumes! (Me too.)
