'Colorado' -- a Five Line Fiction, # 001 -- Travel -- Two Shoes Tuesday ~~ Another Poem (of sorts)

.
Colorado; ..
five-line fiction .....
(a Texas Divorce) ....

I will be seeing you in a couple of weeks he said, dropping it all on Irma at entirely the improper time.

Are you going someplace, someplace that I too have been dreaming about dearest Moody?

Ollie and I are going to the Rockies for a try at skiing, nothing that you would like dear.

Well then you and Ollie have a good time--by the way, who is Ollie?

(the next morning) Mrs. Mood, I am Lt. Hill of the Texas Rangers here to arrest you for the murder over across the county line in Dallas County of James R. Mood and his companion, Ollivette Skeener (woe to stolen love).

Yoiks! Succinct, but with a plot big enough for a book. The photo of the main street is wonderful. I love small towns with mountains at the end of the street.

A prose poem with a deadly ending, Jim! Succinct fiction, right? LOL
Love your photos, especially the one of Main Street and the mountains, but I must wonder if anyone else noticed the note above the Telluride sign in the window..."Fish Naked, it adds color to your cheeks"!!

Ah! She was on to him then, and his little trip with "Ollie" for a bit of stolen love time didn't go so well! I have known an assortment of such sneaky cheaters, most of whom eventually got caught with their proverbial pants down! :-) This was great Jim, you made me smile, and the photos made it all very authentic. Awesome story write for Two Shoes Tuesday, thanks!
