When lovers and nice things are gone

The Dystopian Tarot, The Lovers
Kerry O'Connor

Back to square one;
a Dystopian poem

Technology's losing it today
Planes are falling from the sky
It's big dishes are on the ground
Removing you and me comes next

What we'll have left is innocent child
Eyes wide open and wondering of things
Things that were, we had it so good
Now everything has come to Glum

  - SQUINT your eyes and in the PICTURE you can see the innocent little girl shining through as being in the background.

Psst... i think it's Kerry's picture.

I wonder how often technology will betray us... it happens over and over.

First of all Jim, it is Kerry's prompt. And I don't believe everything is come to glum. maybe a few people look on the world as a miserable place.

Nicely done. Technology is a useful tool, but it is important not to rely on it too much. Easier said than done, I fear.

I like the perspective you showed of this image.. the age of innocence is indeed over.

Yes, innocence is gone. Thank goodness for those bright spots that come along in the news world of bleak.

a day ditching all things electronic - hiking, talking, feeling the breeze. We can change the "glum" if we make the effort. It is very easy to get sidetracked and forget that we are actually in control and can let go... I think we often don't want too....
