Notes:
1. From yesterday's poem some were concerned that I may go blind. Well I might but until then I will faithfully take eye OC meds with lutein and have regular annual eye exams. So far so good. My younger cousin is 'legally blind'.
2. Sherry's Instructions for writing today: "Write about how you manage to maintain that balance, how you hold onto the beauty and the hope. Write about what heals you, or about any facet of this conversation that resonates with you. I'm easy, and I will truly love everything you write!"
2. Strange, but these pictures are not from the golf course. KP, my youngest grandchild could be out there in the rough looking for my lost golf ball. Instead it was taken at Hyde Park in London.
- We had been to the Science Museum and were getting our exercise before catching the tube for the rest of two miles home. KP, Karen (our daughter), and Bill (SIL) lived a block from the Abbey Road Studios (vintage Beatles labels)northwest of Regent's Park (see map below, click for larger view).
- They moved back to the Houston area in July, 2014. One more time this year will make our 15th time to London, most within the last five years.

Jim, you are right. At our time of life moderation is the key, and keeping moving. Thanks for your wonderful poem and the beautiful photos. Also for your notes. I admire your positive attitude. I face eye challenges too. Which will one day be a problem as I dont know how to write poetry without a keyboard. Might have to relearn! It is wonderful that you had the opportunity to travel to London so many times. I envy you seeing the Abbey Road studios!!!! Thanks for taking part in the challenge.
A good plan for all of us, Jim!
That sounds like you have a good plan!
Beautiful pictures! Loved the poem :D
I too believe in things to remain moderate as too much or too little of a thing spins stuff out of control..!!
Thanks for stopping by :D
Great advice all the way through to the end.
I used to work for World Cancer Research Fund (a sister company of AICR) in London, so the word 'moderation' is etched into my brain... Really like the positive tone of your piece here! Very nice!
I love the grand-daughter picture!
Retirement and another third of life, is less, just less. And more, so much more.
Yes, all things in moderation. What a beautiful child!
An excellent recipe!
