Soul
Said myself to My Soul,
"Soul, whereforth goes thou?"
My Soul replied, "don't act so holy,
I know you very well."
"O well," I said learily,
then wishing to myself this time,
"why did I ask?"
That wasn't the end of this exchange
and soon My Soul was talking again.
"Whither thou goest I will go.
There is no other path."

Yes, we often talk with our inner self, call it soul or whatever....
Ah, that inner voice. So important - as long as it doesn't talk back too much.

Your soul is always there. You can't escape. You can't fool the Soul. If you listen you can go to great places together.
There is no other path but sometimes those conversations can get rather interesting.
