One Single Impression: Sunset (an acrostic poem)

.

At Sunset:
a checklist

Sun is brilliantly setting
Under the clouds growing dark
Night is not far away
Splendor over the water
Evening formally announced
Today has been secured

  3. Nice accrostic. Is splender a US spelling of splendour?

  6. Thank you Viv.
Dictionary.com asked me, "Did you mean splendor?" so I changed my splender spelling to be correct.
Blogger spell check did not work on this because of the changed color of the first letter, "S".

Dictionary.com's first definition for both splendor and splendour: (noun) "brilliant or gorgeous appearance, coloring, etc.; magnificence: the splendor of the palace."
