Lovely take on the prompt... the ruins fallen from grace maybe but has a history hidden within, making it very charming.
Yes, no one cares.. but they exist and make their presence felt..you made me feel a little sad.. but how true.. came from heart.. thanks fo such a lovely take on 'Monument'.

Sure, nothing lasts forever, but these monuments still stand tall and proud to tell a tale. They may fall and crumble one day, but their memories will live on in stories.

They sure do make great subjects for photographs though.
Jim this gives a great feel for our monuments, it does seem as tho those that were so important to our generation are no longer of interest, such a shame! Lovely writing!
