Ethics

Untruth and honesty Are we a generation from truth and untruth Do we have our mother's advice tucked in And did she teach us that lying is bad Bad morally, bad for our reputation Bad for us and bad for the recipient Do we make sure our mother is reliable Then don't pass lying to the kids and others Have and keep our honesty reputation And keep it with all we deal with . . . Well put. I specially like mother's reference in the poem.

It's simple, isn't it? Until some other role model makes light of ethics.

Our mothers and grandmothers taught us true. I can imagine their faces if they were listening to the same news we are listening to.

Our mothers taught us well. Telling the truth is such a simple thing. If only everyone would follow it these days.
