Sunday Morning

A lovely family reminiscence. (Also I do love the song Sunday Morning Coming Down – though why I do is a mystery as its content is much outside my experience.)
This is so nice... the imagery is vivid. For me it ended with the realisation that life is little sad-little happy. Human story thrives when the father to son traditions continue; again little good-little bad.
Walking to church one city block away on Sunday morning is a vivid memory to me..and walking back to Mom's Sunday chicken "dinner" which is what we called the noon meal, was even better. Nice poem.
And yes, there are other Senior bloggers.
