Adi and I were best buddies
Deepest
Sleep
Awoke this morning
Feeling very sad
My dog died last night
Vet came to pronounce
There is no help for her
She must be put to sleep
My face on her neck
Slowly she went to sleep
Oh that I could join her darkness

Oh Jim! I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it’s like to lose a beloved pet. You brought tears to my eyes with these lines:
‘My face on her neck
Slowly she went to sleep
Oh that I could join her darkness’.
So sorry... I have been there, it is a dark time ...... 💞
I'm sorry. Our 16-year-old Yorkie died three years ago with help from the vet. It was devastating to go through. I think of him so very often and always will.
So sorry for you... this sorrow is one of the resons for not getting a pet.
Oh, that is very sad. My condolences.
Oh, Jim. I'm so SO sorry. Our sweet little old lady rescue pup is 13 this year, and I dread this moment, so deeply. They truly do steal our hearts. This is a beautiful tribute to your lovely puppy girl. Wishing you all comfort and peace.

Jim, I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost mine years ago and since then have never had another.
