A Flash Poem for Catching up ("Play it Again")
Little bird on the fence
Of what do I owe thee
Be it some crumbs today
Or a meal of fine seeds
Blackbird lady supreme
How is your family
Do babies want some worms
Then I'll clean the bird bath
Smart bird flies off the fence

- 1) I am linked with Margaret at the Imaginary Garden with Real Toads. Artistic Interpretations "Simply Beautiful", originally posted on December 26, 2014, http://withrealtoads.blogspot.co.za/2014/12/artistic-interpretations-simply.html (Margaret wanted us o write inspired on what was in her directions or in some National Geographic Artist's works. I chose her post and used mainly the first topic and picture, the bird on the fence.)
- 2) Again, I am linked with Kerry at the Imaginary Garden with Real Toads, "Flash 55 Plus, posted August 1, 2015, http://withrealtoads.blogspot.co.za/2015/08/flash-55-plus.html (Here Kerry asked us to write a Flash [short] poem of exactly 55 words. We could write on any topic or chose to write on her suggestion, "Trespass". Technically my Blackbird could be trespassing but more technically, birds and animals of the wild are free range and given permission to be wherever they might naturally present themselves.)

Conversation with a bird...love it!
Some days, a wee bird just wanna watch. This is so sweet, Jim. I love the joy the speaker takes in his cleaning work. :-)
Love this. Simple and true.
Oh this is just delightful!❤️
I love conversations with birds.
smart bird ~
Love the smart bird taking care of himself... it would be so sad if it was there for crumbs instead of finding the worms for themselves.
