ReplyDeleteNot for me, but I'm sure I eat food that others turn their noses up at.

ReplyDeleteNow this is a really great haiku, Jim. I really did enjoy the imagery and rhythm of it. But I'm never *ever* gonna eat crayfish. Ever. Not now.
ReplyDeleteOh Jim, how awful. Not your Haiku, but the thought of eating those things. No thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat image and words. Just not as food. LOL

ReplyDeleteWow, Very nice poem Jim. Hey you haven't visited my blog for a Looooooooong time!!Do come and give your discerning views.
ReplyDeleteHey Jim, we used to use them for fish bait. I did try some once from the fish market here in Maine. Don't know where they came from, but didn't care them.
ReplyDeleteGood haiku, and the rest of the meal sounds great.
Your poem is yummy. The photo promising. I used to play with these mud bugs when I was young. I can't get past that. I love the corn etc cooked with them.
ReplyDeleteInspired by Jim's "mudbugs..."
