Single Again

It came in the mail
that missive from hell
To me loud and clear
I don't want you near

Please understand this
our marriage ain't bliss
There's no love from me
and never will be

I saw my lawyer
he said you'll feed her
Six fifty for me
half wages for she
Now I pay monthly
her alimony
Half wages for she
six fifty for me

A new life for me
pockets are empty
New throb's smitten me
Sugar Momma she be

    With a separation at hand, and in past. It is good to know there is another special someone. I think in today's climate, it is even harder to find that special person and to stay together. Everything seems to be "have it my way" and "now". Well done Jim.

    I love the flow and style of this piece...yes it is certainly a painful way to become single. That teddy bear in the photo looks quite glum too. Great effect in this piece.

    Yup this happen...a lot! A freind of mine had her dicorce finalized yesterday and could NOT wait to put "single" in her Facebook status- it was a long time coming and very much needed.

    Jim- thanks for the comment you left. About my "one comment can influence..." I actually meant a positive comment. I was thinking about teaching and all the things that are said (both positive and negative) to the kids and we never know if what we say has any influence unless we find out later- which has happened to me. I have had a few kids come back and say that some of my encouragement about their different strengths somewhat fueled theor career choices. But- also negative can impact/influence as well and as much like you said.

    it happens Jim, isn't it! when love is gone awry, it does happen!

    am back from my holiday and thanks for your kind comments on my blogs while am away, though i was not able to comment back, but i read all your comments.

    and i have to put back in drafts all my posts about my holiday, some friends do not want it posted for security reasons, i mean, i need not show my real me, but then i am glad only a few bloggers read it!

    it never occurred though that going on a holiday would really ease some pains...:)

    but no worries, am back to what is normal for me!
