One single impression: Autumn

[large picture] [super sized]

My Autumn

I'm in my autumn
Silly sounding you wonder
Autumn of my life

Remembers the past
Forgets what you said today
Autumn of my life

Playing this and that
Doesn't do his little chores
Autumn of my life

Sleeps from nine to nine
Waking to eat, read and blog
Autumn of my life

  1. Adi, our beagle dog is 12 years old now. In people years that is 84.
She sleeps a lot now but still likes to go for walks. She has helped me blog at times and still has a very good appetite.

  10. Beautiful puppy. Nice collection of haikus also making a single poem. Well done. And I can so relate to each verse. Sigh.

  12. Jim, this poem is both sad yet full of encouragement. I too feel the cold winds blowing in my life. I wish we could linger awhile and taste next years sweet fruit.

  23. Howdy Jim,

The only thing I miss is the beautiful colorful Autumns. As you could see I lived in an ocean of beauty.

  24. I have a 12 year old cat who sleeps a lot, too. He has asthma -- so that's his excuse. If he moves around a lot, he wheezes. (Seriously.)

Also seriously -- always love your photos of Adi, and this one is particularly sweet. Give Adi a scratch behind the ears for me.
