Thoughts; Climate Theories
Weather science and climate change
Do these two behemoths conflict
Science has the proof to offer claim
Climate theory yet hasn't clicked
States have passed laws which forbid
acknowledging climate change
Calling "useless" theoretics
Imagining of the strange
Look at the thermometer
Check the rainfall and the floods
Winter snows call St. Peter
Droughts and dust storms, eating bugs
Hotter and colder, stronger each
Temperature changes may hurry
Or perhaps they will never be
I'm no expert I just worry
Me, put my head neath a pillow
Way too much for me to swallow

The weather changes are quite disturbing. All the tornadoes in the mid-west yesterday did a lot of damage!
ReplyDeleteHear, hear!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Jim.

The deniers .... bah humbug!
ReplyDeleteThe changing climate is definitely scary!
ReplyDeleteI see the change happening, and there are so much evidence we have to act for ourselves and our children.
ReplyDeleteBTW the prompt asked for 18 lines not 10... I hope you can find another 8 lines somewhere.
For a long time I was not convinced as to whether climate change was man made or we just hit a tipping point but only an idiot would deny that the climate is changing and what kind of politician would vote in laws banning acknowledging climate change - criminally idiotic appealers to their base...
ReplyDeleteWell put poetically!
Well said, Jim!
ReplyDeleteSo true, Jim!
ReplyDelete"Climate change" is usually cited as a pretext for a boondoggle. Still, it seems a bit much to ban any mention of it. Local warming is indisputably real--whether people are actually doing things that may help, or just proposing boondoggles, it still exists!
