A Cat Poem -- for the Sunday Muse # 130

Who Let the Cats Out

Cats cats everywhere

Black cats every one

Bad luck cariers

Behind you must stay

Mass production they

Built as clones, one mum

Pet for every home

Black cats everywhere

Turned street loose at dusk

When they front your path

Don't cross turn around

Leave black cats behind

The mice died or gone

Cats come home to eat

  1. This made me smile Jim! I used to know someone who would turn their car around over a black cat! LOL

  2. Who decided to mass produce bad luck? Sounds like a very 2020 decision. :)

  3. We had a black cat named Charlie ... bad news, bad luck, bad karma. Cheers.

  4. I think black cats are good luck, Jim. But then I'm left-handed, so everything I do is backwards! Haha!

They will be a big problem considering the big number. They control the streets and they are bent in taking over the homes. Frightening Jim and very well written!

  7. A scary thought here, Jim... and very well illustrated.
