I Live in a Tree:
a simple life
These days I'm living in a tree
I have no quaral no regrets
Hardly I can remember why
Pushed over the brink here I'm safe
I'm happy here please let me stay
Don't make me come down, I'll behave
Bring me food, there's no clothes to wash
Tell the people to stay away
Birds nest in my hair, pretty birds
They talk to me and lay their eggs
On my head their young learn to scratch
Learning to pick the lice and bugs
Don't you scare them away, my friends
Perhaps rain, today I can bathe

ReplyDeleteThis sounds very relaxing. We took the dogs out to celebrate the rain yesterday...they were not impressed. :)
ReplyDeleteNice fantasy. That's the life
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday
Much💝love
No one wants their simple living to be interfered with, especially when it comes with music and free head scratching.
ReplyDeleteI like this Jim.
ReplyDeleteI am ready to take up residency in a tree!!
ReplyDeleteA tree for me!
ReplyDeleteA lion must feel safer in a tree. He is friendly, too, with birds in his mane!!
ReplyDeleteA tree is good for me.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, Jim. A friendly lion who just wants to nest.
