Cupid's Arrow -- a Poem for the Tuesday Platform

My heart      has a
Cupid's arrow slanting
upwards from bottom to top.

I guard it strongly within
the pages of my Bible.

I take it out at
random times
to show
my
Love

She shot the arrow.

  1. How lovely! The arrow metaphor is always delightful in bringing that love/idea of love to the foray.

  3. I'm weighing the feeling of being shot and being in love. Glad it was sweet and not a dagger.
