Cupid's Arrow Gotten, a Poem

My heart isn't mine anymore
Was stolen by Cupid's arrow

Clean through her arrow pierced my heart
Defeat, surrendered with no fight

On paper I drew my heart's plight
Happy heart now belongs to her

I've carried that picture always
Years and years my love forever

  1. This is a sincere expression of love. We give all when we give our hearts this way.

  2. Your wife is a blessed woman, Jim--but you also blessed by a woman willing to give her love just as freely as you've given yours! Sigh. Love that you write from the heart. Thanks for sharing.
