2013
Two thousand and thirteen, it came to soon
It's a year that I have dreaded for years
A birthday year for me which makes me old
No fun one like I had ten years before
Death isn't the end I know, I'm ready
But please God, could I have some more good years

Mrs. Jim and I rode in a train over this bridge on January 12, 2013, while visiting there. I am posting here more pictures and text about our holiday spent cruising on the Diamond Princess ship along the east coast of New Zealand and then over to Australia (Next Thursday will be "K" Day with Kangaroos).

It's a fair request. I have as much authority as god(but not as many believers) and I say 'Yes!'.
ReplyDeleteAlways too soon, and the answer should be "yes."
ReplyDeleteConsidering that 2012 was supposed bring the Doomsday, I consider every year from 2013 onwards a bonus year in Earth's life and also mine :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you do have a lot more fun, maybe even more than 10 years before :-)
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you get them. nice one.
ReplyDeleteYes, Many more fantastic years!
ReplyDeleteHi Jim... I understand & wish you many more years as well!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Count your age as the years you've survived till now! And since you have survived through all that (lots of downs more than the ups), you will survive even more years to come! Enjoy them! :D
ReplyDeleteAw, c'mon! Old? No way!
ReplyDeleteHopefully yes....It's a blessing to live long and enjoy the fruits of our hard work ~
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have many!! Travel on in happiness with Mrs. Jim!!
ReplyDeleteMany more to enjoy that view from your porch each day.
ReplyDeleteTonight, my daughter asked how old I was. I said I didn't remember because I stopped counting. And that is true, I had to do the math.
ReplyDeleteKeep moving and doing things like that trip and it will happen. A sad refrain, but a great truth. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteYES! Both you and Mrs Jim will definitely have a lot more very good, excellent years :)
ReplyDeleteLive every moment for we never know, do we? Keep laughing, that's the trick :)
ReplyDeleteJim, you already have good years, as I see from your posts. aren't you being little too greedy?
ReplyDeleteWishing you very exciting 2013!
