It was late in the afternoon. He'd eaten, sunned and eaten some more.
Back home kids were sleeping, pets were fed, and Monk was on TV.
Here the daylight now began looking forward to a beautiful evening at sea.
Out of the corner of his eye Smitty could see one of the dancers approaching. Instantly his heart was going pita-pat.
This wasn't in the plan. He was a married man minding his own business, what was she doing here?
"Mr. Smith, I have come," the beautiful lady said.
"Oops, wrong number!" he cried.
"Oh no, I'm living the dream, man..."

Good one. Looks like a dream cruise. And Monk is one of my favorite tv shows.

It can be a fine line between dreams and reality.. And a dangerous line at that. Thanks for your visit and comments. They're much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI so love the Monk series! Did you ever see him in the movie I.Q. with Meg Ryan and Walter M.? Great movie, as is your cool living the dream, which by the look of your photo you are totally living the dream. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteHaHa! "Wrong number" is a very witty response :)
ReplyDeleteLove this Jim!
ReplyDeleteI love his witty response. Beside, I think he was too full from all that eating to even entertain ... ummm... other ... ummm.... entertainment!
