.
It was a cold and rainy day. The chair dominated the small room. That chair and the cat in the chair.
Xentor knew only one way to get warm and have any rest. Make friends with the cat and share the place to sit. A saucer of milk would do the trick for now.
The cat drank slowly if at all. All the while making a small crying sound.
Xentor pried it's mouth open and found a fish hook stuck in the roof. Carefully he removed the hook like he did on fishing trips.
The cat said, "Meow, meow."
Xentor had made a friend for life.

It is Saturday Centus day. Jenny in her blog, ...off my tangent..., has challenged us with writing a 106 word story using these six words, in order, "the chair dominated the small room".
That is 100 of our words plus the six she has required. She did allow less, but I made it to an even 106.
Jenny also had a picture of a single dentist chair in a small room that we could use or we were allowed to use our own. I opted to use this one of Fluffy and his dining table chair. Fluffy belongs to my BIL, Danny.
You can find more writers signed up at Jenny's blog, ...off my tangent.... You can also go there to find instructions for writing your own post.
Welcome to Saturday Centus. Isn't it fun? Having lived with cats most of my adult life, I enjoyed your story.
