Acrostics Only Prompt 8: Acrostic Limerick - STAND
(Limerick Form - a limerick is defined as “a light humorous, nonsensical, or bawdy verse of 5 anapestic lines usually with the rhyme scheme aabba”. Lines 1, 2, and 5 have 7 to 10 syllables and the last words rhyme. Lines 3 and 4 of Limericks have 5 to 7 syllables and the last words rhyme.)

  2. ha ha ha...i am so embarrassed Jim about my comment in your acrostic...i did not realize that STAND is a limerick acrostic...i overlooked it, so you are in for a contest...:-)

    thanks for sharing the rules and if i my memory serves me right, i won in a limerick acrostic last year and the prompt was PARIS...:-)

    i should try to write one about STAND...and see if i have not forgotten the fun of writing one...:-)
