In the game of Star Chase to the Moon only some will return. Others could very well not.

Tiny Tink's assent was very successful. She was elated and felt quite giddy.

Alas, her dive! Into the Isaev Crater naked.

Scrub her return.

  1. Fun, different take on the pic of the day. Always interesting to read each week the different takes on the same pic! Have a great week, Jim!

  3. Oh, to rise so high, only to crash and burn...the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

    Well done, Jim.

  5. You've got to have a winner to make a story and you do! Mine is about the Higgs boson. What, you don't read theoretical quantum particle physics? As far as I understand, the problem is that if the universe was a can of baked beans then picking it up ( the can, not the universe) suggests that only one bean in the can. But when you open it,( yes, the can) it’s full, So a Higgs boson is the way of trying to explain this difference. Simple really. Oh, if you want a proper explanation one is here. But that's why you need my metaphor machine microfiction.

    I added your name,
    no big deal for me...

    in general,
    participants come first,
then fresh poets who follow me a few times, then they will be added on,
then those poets who are inactive but contributed for a long time in the past,
then some friends who are poets and are my blogger followers....

lots of people to consider, never meant to hurt anyone.
    Cheers!

  14. Hey Jim! Thanks for your comments on my blog! Sorry about the "girly" contest prizes, but 99% of my followers are women, and I never get comments from men, except on my memes! If you'd like to be entered, I'll throw your name into the hat! (are you a follower? I forgot to check!)
