A Poem - About Some Lies
Lie to Me
Lie to me tonight,
lay close and snuggle
I need you to tell,
tell me things I need,
Things I need to hear
Things I've always known
Things to make me smile
Things true I'll tell you
Things true from my heart
Things my love for you
Would that yours come true
Things our hearts would meld
Our love could complete

No matter the topic, Jim, you manage to make it a testament to love. I think you must be a really romantic guy!
Lies like that we all luv
Happy Wednesday Jim
Much💙love
Oh, I have needed the comfort of some little white lies.
Funny how we can never quite believe how wonderful we are in someone else's eyes.
Sometimes in darker days we are quite happy to have any company, or do the simplest things to pretend that life is close to normal again.
Your poem is so romantic, Jim, and a familiar plea.
Aw! That's a sweet twist on the prompt.
Innocent and simple. Like it!
I have needed that reassurance more times than I dare say ... enjoyed your poem, Jim.
Romantically lovely, Jim.
