NaPoWriMo 2017, Day 12 -- an Advice Poem, "Listen up"

Listen up

They'll tell you any and every day
It's what you want to hear, "believe me"

He may be the old man down the road
He may be another you would trust
He may have told you a small white lie
He may not be all bad, just a bit

From "An old man in a Bad white dress"

  2. Oh my goodness, what a perplexing sign! (An anti-Pope demo?) I like how you made it sound like there could be lots of them running around. :)
