I'm linked with Gillena Cox at the Imaginary Garden with Real Toads, FASHION ME YOUR WORDS ~ a query (check this link for Gillena's directions in more detail and an Emily Dickinson poem sort of like mine)
We were to 'craft' a poem modeled after Emily Dickinson, ‘Answer July’. We were to have no more than 100 words, I wrote 70 counting the title.
Thanks for your response Jim. What's lovely tribute
ReplyDeleteMuch love...
Nice tribute to a beautiful friend.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet... the best friend a man can have
ReplyDeleteAdi was a lovely friend
ReplyDeleteMy brother always wanted a beagle. He said it would be his "wonderbeagle." Of course his family choice won out and they have a dachshund. Sounds like Aldi was a great friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and touching tribute, Jim ❤️
ReplyDeleteIt's been sixteen years and I still miss my Chloe!
ReplyDeleteAdi looks beautiful. My dog Jasper was friends with a beagle whose owner lived nearby. We used to walk our dogs together. Sadly both my dog and my neighbour have passed away and Jamie the beagle was taken to Yorkshire to live with my neighbour's ex-wife. Love beagles - they are so gentle, playful and loving.
ReplyDeleteAww...Adi looks so precious. What a gift. You were blessed and so was everyone your dear Adi met.
ReplyDeleteSweet Adi.
ReplyDeleteOne thing you can say about dogs is their life is always well lived given the opportunity. If humans could halfway measure up. I salute Adi. I'm a fellow dog lover. I have a few, 8 ;=}.
