One Single Impression: Gold

With This Ring

I love you, he whispered softly.
Oh you silly thing you, said she.

Of course I do, I wear your ring
and sing your song, a song of life.
Of life and love, babies, children,
my children you're the mother of.

Yes, I remember well that day,
committing you my love to stay.
My token, flowered band of gold.
You gave me your all, heart and soul.

  10. Dear Jim,

Awww. I love this mushy poem, especially "love is in the air." Someday I so want to meet you and Mrs. Jim! That wedding band is unusual and gorgeous! Do you know the song "Cherish"?
