very sad one Jim,
would love to have lots of flowers when i will depart, too!!!
Touching, Jim. Thanks.
Jim,
Very nice sunset photo and use of the prompt. I actually wrote two works and could not decide which to post. My second piece is along your exacting theme, called "A Simple Good-bye". Thank you for your kind comments on my post and blog.

Well done.
Sunny Sunday #5 - Paper Sol
What a beautiful and poignant haiku...I was very touched by this one.
very elegant, Jim. Interesting factoid -- in Judaism there are no flowers at funerals. Lot's of flowers for the living and the sick, but none at funerals.
this one's sad! :(
sweet and simple...!
tender & romantic
Touching and thoughtful. Enjoyed reading.
I love little poems that say a lot!
perfect poem for the prompt- And Happy Belated Birthday! Hope it was great!!!
Jimmie Hov, very succint, but I just read your comment on another blog about your grandmother and it made me so sad! How did a chiroprator kill her? I so loved my own Nana. It is so hard to miss them sometimes but what fond memories I have. It sounds like you do too and I am so sorry for your loss!
this is so sad!! the top picture is beautiful!
Flowers are always better...nice verse.
