Morning Joys - a Quadrille Poem for dVerse

Image by Julius Silver from Pixabay

MORNING COMES

Morning comes I step out my door
A bird is singing, my rooftop
A mockingbird I sing to him
"Who cooks for you" "Who cooks for you"
Then from my rooftop he returns
Quiet a bit, replies another

Repeat Repeated
Neighborhood sings to me

Clouds and shadows this morning here at my house
