from making an ars of yourself
your unwarranted rage does tell
downward ever downward you fall
darting where mosquitos dast not
kiss and make up, apologize

ReplyDeletecleverly written. enjoyed
ReplyDeleteI like the way you’ve included both the vertical and horizontal in your imperative poem Jim! I would most definitely ‘kiss and make up, apologize’, without argument. 😊
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever interesting response to the prompt line! Love the "telling off" nature of it. Well done!
ReplyDeleteclever twist using the first line, a failed apology is akin to a nasty mosquito bite!
