One Single Impression: D a s h

.
Sevenling
(I washed the dog today)

I washed the dog today
It's raining in Florida, bad
My old lady's down in the back

The dog was happy
The Florida people wept
The Little Lady may recover

Used  D a s h laundry soap and, saving water, now to wash my Little Lady's feet

  5. Washing your lady's feet with the same brush you used on the dog? I like the practicality of that.

  6. Jim, "my old lady" used to mean your woman in hippiespeak, ha ha, you know that. So "my old lady's down in the back," I thought maybe your spouse/partner had spinal trouble. Made this even funnier when I saw the comment about Dash!! I remember that brand... and now I understand the picture.

Talk about dense. Densely yours, and peace to you, Amy

  7. I remember Dash laundry detergent. Do they still make it? I don't think so. Good one Jim.

  9. This made me smile....a clean dog can't wait until it can make all the effort dissolve in a roll in the dust.

  10. Fun. Enjoyed. It's looking at the concrete images and seeing it in a different context and it's own sake that I really appreciate. I think at the end of the day, I want the plain to help me understand the complex. Thanks.

  13. I would say this was quaint poetry. Dash laundry detergent hadn't come to my mind. I was too tired and not enough time to do this prompt this week. Even when I did "promptless" it was because "dash" did nothing for me. Thanks for the nudge. I forget to go back after a few days to catch up on things I've missed. Please excuse my memory!
