Come August thirteenth
Perseids meteor shower
peaks before morning
ordinary chondrites fall
elemental iron burns

I did not know about this thirteenth August thing. Is is something to be worried about? In any case we all are same elements - electrons, changing from one form to another, so why worry?

"chondrites" - I love how that word feels between my teeth. Gritty and brittle - aren't the Perseids beautiful??!

I might just stay in bed that day.

Thank you - it so so pleasant to find a blog that does not hide behind the prickly thicket of an unreadable word verification.
