a Shape Poem, an Art Inspired Writing

A
Hard
Night
.
Oh
Gracious
Awake so soon
Head was aching
Belly somersaulting
He turned over to see
To see where he was
Remembering the
night before
could not
How
did
he
get
here
There in the bed
A possible answer
to his dilemma lay

Stirring she cooed
Darling you I love
His turning point

  1. I like the shape of your poem, Jim. I copied and pasted it to see what it would look like uncentered and it resembles someone lying in bed!

  2. I like the way the shape of your poem picks up the wineglass which is also falling out the window. Good one, Jim.

  5. Oh I love this poem and the shape you wrote it in. I too copied and pasted your poem to see what it would look like without the form, but it formed for me into a ummm. well, a resemblance to a well endowed woman. lol Yes, what a night!
