One Single Impression: Liquid

.

Liquid;
help and hurt

Fueled with jasmine oil the romance was hot
love kept it kindled such a sweet couple

Later in life there came troubled water
'he' quenched our fire a cold shoulder remained

Separate ways we went experienced two
wary of every stone--left some unturned

Soon two plus two equals two couples new
seasoned chill resistant with second starts

greying rapidly

Monday Note:  !!! HAPPY EARTH DAY !!!

1.  I believe that God has ready for us life on the other side of that darkness. And for the pictured property over by our Post Office (Willis, Texas) as He made us stewards of our earth and all that is in an on our planet.

2.  STEWARDS:We are stewards of God's earth, ruling over that which is not ours. "You [God] made humans ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under our feet: All flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas," Ps 8:6-8. (more of God's plan for us and His earth link)
3.  I am celebrating EARTH DAY over on my FaceBook page.

One Single Impression: Please

.

Please Dear God

Please Dear God, won't you send me
Send me a sparkling new home
One with windows fine and clear
A wooden floor with no dirt

Please Dear God, I need a truck
Bright and red, a Chevrolet
One to pull my trailer fast
The trailer too needs some tires

Please Dear God, my van is broke
But this time I'd like a car
A shiny one, maybe black
New Mustang or Cadillac

Please Dear God, our pastor's poor
Our tithes are small, sometimes slow
He needs milk for his porridge
Bread and beans for his children

Please Dear God, our children walk
They need a little pony
He can be dappled or plain
He'd best run fast, never trot

Please Dear God, I'd like to move
Move me to a pretty town
Where grass is green, trees are tall
With sidewalks smooth for the kids

Please Dear God, I've laid my needs
Like dominoes spread out straight
I'm not asking for money
Just house, pony, car and truck

My needs are plain can You see?
Some for pastor and his kids
Our children a place for them
Just simple things, please Dear God

Note:  A lot of time amateurs like the local Little Theatre group will produce Broadway shows at your local auditorium. If this isn't the case check with your library for recorded versions, often by big name groups and actors.  Ours does.
